This survey is part of a project run by Charlotte Gay, a student at the School of Geography and Planning, Cardiff University. This research aims to investigate how well represented transgender people are in planning decisions in Cardiff, and to examine participation between transgender people and planners in Cardiff’s public space. This paper looks to understand the distinction between decision makers' (planners) and minority groups' (transgender people) access to public space, and representation in decision processes for Cardiff’s public space. This is a student project and its findings are not expected to be published widely; however, any subsequent sharing of data or findings will be made completely anonymous. All answers will be anonymous however, this survey includes a free text box answering system, meaning some answers may be identifiable, but these are optional and respondents can choose not to answer them. Cardiff University is the data controller for this study and data will be stored securely in line with UK Government data protection laws and university regulations, in a password-protected device.
